Taipei: Home of Every Scooter on Earth
One of the most rewarding aspects of travel is getting to see another culture first hand. People the world over are basically the same, with the same wants, needs, and desires, but it is how they go about achieving those that makes them different.
Taiwan was awesome, I'll just say that. The food was good, the city of Taipei was amazing, the public transport, like much of Asia, was punctual, clean, and fast. One thing that has to be said about Taipei is that everyone owns a scooter. I don't know if that is actually true, but it does seem that way. There are scooters everywhere, whole blocks packed with parked scooters, red lights with hundreds waiting to go, just a plethora of scooters. I shot a lot of photos of them, it is impossible not to.
