A Few Nights in Southern California
In June of last year, which was the year of our lord 2022, I was sent to California for a business trip. My boss, some coworkers, and myself were tasked with going out to LAX to assist the ground staff there with all the dignitaries flying in for the Summit Of The Americas. The amount of work was almost laughable, but the company wanted to send some of their best people in case any contracts would come because of our great job.
I decided to rent a car for the week I was there, as I knew there would be days off, and I would have plenty of time to myself in case I wanted to tool about town, which I of course ended up doing.
I drove that car a few thousand miles in the week that I was renting it; I drove to San Francisco, Novato, and San Diego, and I played disc golf all over Southern California. I really made the most of my time while in California.
One night, I decided to head down to San Deigo to spend the evening shooting with my friend Scott. He took out his 4x5, I brought my Rolleiflex. A handful of the images in this post are from that evening. The other handful are from walking around LA. I hope you enjoy them.
