Bergger Pancro 400
If I am anything, it is a creature of habit, I gravitate to the same places to shoot photos, I watch the same Andy Griffith show to fall asleep, and I tend to use the same film stocks; HP5 for black and white, Provia for slide, and Portra 400 for color. I rarely purchase other film stocks.
Recently, two new films hit the market, Japan Camera Hunter released a 400 speed black and white film with very high contrast, it only comes in 35mm. I do not usually shoot 35mm, so I had not shot it until last week.
Another film that was released was Bergger Pancro 400. I picked up a few rolls and gave them a shot (pun!), I have to say that I really like it. It gives smooth tones and medium contrast. I'll just show you the pictures, no reason for me to keep blabbing.
Even though I messed up two roll in develop thanks to old Banana-J there, it still came out to my liking. Very smooth. 11/10 would use this film again, most likely at box speed.
